Activities

Events Calendar:: The Outer Banks calendar of events can be found here: www.outerbanks.org/outerbanks-events/

Kayaking: This is the outfit we have used for Kayak tours in the past - there are others you can look at, but these guys have a number of possibilities: www.kittyhawk.com/kayak-tours/. We have done one in Manteo and the Corolla Light House/Whalehead Club one.

Fishing: Here is the main website describing the fishing piers: www.outerbanksfishing.com/FishingInfo/piers.htm. Avalon is the closest to us, but Nags Head is not much further and has a restaurant that will cook anything you catch.

Aquarium: North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island

Wright Brothers Memorial: National Park
